Leicester City News understands that teenage sensation Jeremy Monga has agreed to a deal with Manchester City.

Manchester City have been closely monitoring Monga over the past few months as he continues to impress with Leicester’s under-21s and at the youth level with England.

Monga, who turns 16 this summer, has been on international duty this week, captaining the young Three Lions against France, Colombia, and Denmark, and scoring in each match.

While Monga is eager to make the move to the Etihad, Leicester and Manchester City have yet to finalize an agreement.

A tribunal may be necessary for Pep Guardiola’s side to break the deadlock.

Speaking to the site, TBR’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey revealed that Manchester United and Chelsea are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Monga.

“I understand that a host of clubs wanted Monga – Man United, Chelsea, and Newcastle,” Bailey said.

“There were also German giants RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund amongst others.”

At the moment, Manchester City are firmly in the lead to secure Monga’s signature, but there is still work to be done to complete the deal.
