Spurs man BLASTS Shameless Jose Mourinho for Disrespecting Ange Postecoglou and the Club after labeling Tottenham as a Team with Empty Trophy Cabinet

Jose Mourinho has once again incurred the wrath of Tottenham and its fans today by making a bit of a mockery of the club’s history.

As we all know, Mourinho is just one of the many managers who have failed to bring success to Tottenham in recent years, but now he is back in Italy with Roma, where he is doing well again.

Most people hardly remember Mourinho’s time at the club with good humour. His football was rather negative, but in the end it always produced the same results.

Of course, it is now Ange Postecoglou at the helm, playing so openly and successfully, which makes Mourinho and Antonio Conte even more vulnerable to people’s criticism.

Spurs legend Graham Roberts responded to Mourinho’s comments this morning on the Obi One Podcast and took a swipe at the Portuguese coach.

Graham Roberts is not happy with Jose Mourinho’s comments about Tottenham
Roberts, who never holds back his opinions on Spurs, took to social media to respond to Fabrizio Romano’s tweet.

He did not hold back when it came to Mourinho.

“That’s not true, Spurs have won many trophies in their history and Jose with his negative style of play has been one of the worst managers in our history. Not only did he have one of the worst styles, but he was so boring to listen to with his constant moaning. Ange was a breath of fresh air,” he said.

Roberts then added a second tweet.

“One of the best paid managers at Spurs in the world, who implemented this type of football, was absolutely painful,” she added.

Mourinho’s comments will upset some at Tottenham:

The problem for the former Spurs boss is that the new manager is proving it can be done and he has only been at the club for six months.

Of course, Mourinho’s comments carry some weight and Spurs have been largely unsuccessful over the last 20-30 years.

But Mourinho was hardly a firebrand when he was there and now Postecoglou is doing so well that even his comments seem a bit ridiculous.

Roberts has every right to express his opinion and he never holds back. Like many Spurs fans, Roberts thinks that Mourinho himself has done little at Tottenham and should hold back on some things.
