Pedro Porro is one of Tottenham’s best players this season.
The Spaniard has been a real standout as Spurs’ attacking full-back this season.
Tottenham fans have really taken a liking to Porro, but not only Spurs fans.
FPL players are also starting to like Porro as an option in fantasy football, and Clinton Morrison spoke on the Fantasy 606 Podcast about the Spaniard’s style of play and why he is so handy in the FPL.
Morrison says that Porro is a great option due to the fact that he never defends and always aims to score goals and assists instead of fulfilling his defensive duties.
Porro never defends:
Morrison shared his judgement on the defender.
“I had Udogie but I put Porro in the Forest game because I looked at him and he took all the set-ups, he never defends, all he tries to do is go forward and try to score goals and assists, so I think he’s going to stay there to be honest,” Morrison said.
Attacking on all sides:
Porro doesn’t necessarily defend as much as you’d expect from a full-back, but that’s what makes this Tottenham team so incredible to watch.
This Tottenham team is based on attack and Porro is the player who embodies that more than anyone.
He might be listed as a right-sided defender, but as Morrison says, his main priority is to penetrate forward down the right as often as possible.
Porro may be a defender, but he is one of Tottenham’s most dangerous strikers these days, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he contributes even more goals and assists in the coming months as Porro starts to grow in stature and confidence in this Tottenham team.
