JUST IN – Player has been shown the EXIT DOOR by Ange Postecoglou after being frozen out of the team as England lcon tells EPL rivals to sign the out of favoured Spurs magician

The former England goalkeeper urged Eddie Howe’s team to finalise the signing of Hugo Lloris.

Newcastle fans would have been optimistic of another great season after last season’s Champions League run, but their campaign has been derailed by a series of injuries.

A shorthanded squad has made it difficult for them to cope with these problems, as they finished bottom of their Champions League group and are currently 6th in the Premier League standings.

After Nick Pope injured his shoulder against Manchester United, Howe now relies on Martin Dubravka between the posts.

And former Premier League goalkeeper Robinson has urged the club to make a deal for Tottenham’s Lloris.

“Whether financial fair play will allow that remains to be seen.” He told Football Insider via Spurs Web.

“They’ve got two goalkeepers in Hugo Lloris and David De Gea who we should have a look at.

“Lloris could cost next to nothing if we agree with Tottenham to opt out of his contract. Both options are better than what Newcastle have now.”

The French goalkeeper is still in north London and will be looking to reclaim his place in the Spurs team after an incredible start from Guglielmo Vicario.
