Done Deal – Leeds United have ANNOUNCED the SIGNING of Another Sensational Forward after the departure of Georginio Rutter to Brighton – Player unveiled with Leeds New Second Kit

Leeds United have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Largie Ramazani from Spanish side Almeria.

The 23-year-old forward arrives at Elland Road following the departure of Georginio Rutter to Brighton earlier this week, a move that also saw Crystencio Summerville and Archie Gray leave the club.

Ramazani, who began his football journey in England with Charlton Athletic at the age of 12 before moving to Manchester United’s youth ranks, has spent the last four years in Spain with Almeria.

During his time there, he scored 22 goals, demonstrating his ability to perform at a high level. Now, he is set to be a key part of Leeds’ push for promotion back to the Premier League.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke was keen to strengthen his squad after the exits of Rutter and Summerville, and he sees Ramazani as a potential starter.

Although Leeds still have the likes of Willy Gnonto and Daniel James, who can play on the flanks, finding a direct replacement for Rutter’s No 10 role remains a challenge.

Ramazani’s versatility is one of his strongest assets. While primarily a left-sided forward, he is equally comfortable playing on either wing or in a central attacking role. This flexibility makes him a suitable candidate to fill the void left by Summerville, who joined West Ham earlier in the transfer window.

Speaking on the club’s transfer dealings, Farke expressed confidence in the club’s strategy:

“We have to rebuild right now, but I trust our owners and board to come through with good decisions. I am optimistic and confident, but nobody wants to hear that right now, it’s time to do some business.”

Farke also highlighted the youthful nature of his squad, noting the need for experience alongside their emerging talents.

“We have a very young group and one of the smallest numbers in the whole league. We have 19 first team players but some have played not many games… We need quality and we need personality and we need experience.”

Ramazani’s signing is a clear indication that Leeds are moving quickly to address these needs as they look to strengthen their squad for the challenges ahead.
