“They are in talks, club to sell sensational ace to Spurs instead of Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich” – Tottenham fans recieve massive GOOD NEWS after beating Everton to go 4th on the PL table

Tottenham have received a transfer boost as one club is “ready” to sell its star player to Spurs, although Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich are interested in him.

Postecoglou wants a new centre-back at Tottenham:

Micky van de Ven’s thigh muscle injury in November left them severely weakened, so Lilywhites manager Ange Postecoglou is currently without central defensive options for his usual starting eleven.

The Dutchman was injured in the 4-1 home defeat to Chelsea that ended their unbeaten streak at the start of the season, and Cristian Romero’s suspension certainly didn’t help then.

At one point, Postecoglou was forced to play with Emerson Royal and Ben Davies as makeshift centre-backs, but Romero’s return to the game ended that drastic measure.

Davies has worked well with the Argentine for the most part in recent weeks, although Postecoglou is still adamant that Spurs should sign a new centre-back in January.

“We let Davinson Sanchez go after the window closed. We knew we were taking a bit of a risk; we couldn’t get the extra centre-back we wanted to get and at the start of the year that was fine,” Postecoglou told Sky of Tottenham’s defensive conundrum.

“But when we lost Micky [van de Ven] and also Eric Dier had some problems, we don’t have another central defender. Young Ash Phillips has just joined the club so it’s safe to say we can’t risk that happening again, so that’s obviously a priority for us in January.

“But we need to get the right person again. It’s not just about bringing in another person, it’s about bringing in the right person, and hopefully that will happen.”

According to reports over the last week, the Lilywhites seem to have identified the best candidate in Nice star Jean-Clair Todiba.

The 23-year-old’s excellent campaign in France has attracted attention from all over Europe, including Bayern of the Bundesliga.

Nice is “ready” to sell Todiba to Spurs:

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs have been given a boost in their search for Todibo as January approaches.

Nice and reliable journalist Dan Kilpatrick claim to be “ready” to sell Todiba to Spurs, even though Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratfcliffe is linked with the Ligue 1 club.

Ratcliffe will soon take control of football operations at Man United, which is also keen to acquire the France international, but the billionaire’s stake in Nice will not prevent Tottenham from completing the deal if they meet his asking price.

Todibo is also a target for Tuchla’s Bayern, United, Liverpool and AC Milan next month, but it is Spurs who are making the first steps and have “started” talks.

The centre-back is a real attraction as he could leave for as little as £35 million, with former Brazil star Dante describing his teammate as a “leader” and a “very strong” player.

“Of course we want Todibo to stay,” Dante said at a recent press conference.

“But it can be complicated. We have to wait to see who will want to buy him and whether everyone will be there. He is a leader, mentally a very strong player, he has improved a lot and he is ready to reach the highest level.”
