TWO West Ham Top-class stars want to LEAVE the London Stadium, David Moyes have opened the doors for them to LEAVE

Thilo Kehrer and Pablo Fornals want to return home in the January transfer window and David Moyes is ready to let them leave West Ham.

Kehrer and Fornals have been out of action at the London Stadium this season, with the Spanish midfielder making just two Premier League appearances and Kehrer not featuring at all so far.

According to the editor of Claret & Hugh (27 December), both players are keen to leave West Ham in the January window, but while Moyes is willing to allow Kehrer to return to Germany, Fornals is expected to wait until the summer to return to Spain.

“Hammer Thilo Kehrer wants to leave West Ham and return to Germany in the winter, with David Moyes unlikely to stand in his way,” they wrote.

“Meanwhile, Pablo Fornals, whose contract has been extended by one year, also wants to leave the club and return to Spain, but his move will probably have to wait until the summer.”

Reasonable:

West Ham is much stronger in defence than it has been in recent seasons, which means Kehrer is finding it difficult to get regular playing time.

Vladimir Coufal is the first choice right-back, Ben Johnson is seemingly in front of Kehrer as his deputy, and Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Angelo Ogbonna and Dinos Mavropanos are all in front of him in the middle.

He will need to be replaced in the summer, especially if Johnson’s future is not secured with a new contract, but an acceptable offer could come in for the German, which would mean it makes sense to fire him.

As for Fornals, our attacking options aren’t that deep, which means we’ll probably have to keep him.

Maxwel Cornet and Danny Ings are certainly much more likely to go out the exit door if opportunities arise, which means Fornals will be even more needed and will have to wait.
