‘Forget Jarrod Bowen or Lucas Paqueta’ – Tim Steidten tells Hammers summer SIGNING to step up and be like this ‘West Ham star’ after player seems LOST following move to London Stadium

West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten, has issued a unique challenge to one of the club’s new summer signings, Crysencio Summerville.

Following the departure of David Moyes and the appointment of Julen Lopetegui, West Ham sought to strengthen their squad and continue building on a solid foundation.

Steidten and his recruitment team delivered with a series of key acquisitions, including proven Premier League performers like Max Kilman and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Alongside them were other high-profile signings such as Jean-Clair Todibo, Niclas Füllkrug, and Summerville. While some have yet to fully find their feet at the London Stadium, the club is confident they will all become vital assets.

Of these new additions, Summerville stands out as perhaps the most exciting prospect. At just 22 years old, the Dutch winger has the potential to become a world-class player.

His standout performances in the Championship last season, where he was named Player of the Season, made his signing something of a coup for West Ham. It’s clear Summerville sees the club as the perfect place to continue his development.

Steidten played a pivotal role in persuading Summerville to join the Hammers, but he also laid down an intriguing challenge. According to The Athletic, Steidten urged Summerville to follow the example of Mohammed Kudus.

The Ghanaian has not only adapted to the rigours of the Premier League but has also elevated his game significantly since his arrival.

If Summerville can match the progress made by Kudus, West Ham could have another extraordinary talent on their hands. The young Dutchman is eager to work hard and meet the challenge – now it’s up to the club to unlock his full potential.
