Reports this week suggest that Everton are considering bringing back former manager David Moyes, should they decide to part ways with current boss Sean Dyche.
The Toffees have endured a difficult start to the season, with four defeats in their opening five matches, leaving Dyche under significant pressure.
Their most recent outing, a 1-1 draw against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, saw Everton drop points once again after taking the lead.

The 61-year-old, who has been described as “incredible” and “one of the best” by many in the game, is a free agent after leaving West Ham United at the end of last season.
Moyes guided the Hammers to ninth place in the Premier League and won the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023, cementing his reputation as a highly experienced manager.
Moyes’ first stint at Everton between 2002 and 2013 saw him lead the club to consistent top-half finishes and an FA Cup final appearance in 2009.
His departure to Manchester United marked the end of an era at Goodison Park, and after subsequent spells with Real Sociedad and West Ham, it appears that a return to Merseyside could now be on the cards.
Former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter has also been linked with the role, but Moyes remains the leading candidate for now.

Calvert-Lewin has been a key figure for the Toffees since his arrival from Sheffield United in 2016, scoring 70 goals in over 250 appearances. The striker is Everton’s 12th all-time top scorer and has been pivotal to the team’s attacking play in recent seasons.
However, there is significant interest in Calvert-Lewin from other clubs, with the report suggesting that teams from Germany are closely monitoring his situation.
Newcastle United were also linked with a move for the striker during the summer, and it is believed that they remain interested, though any potential deal would likely involve Calvert-Lewin playing second fiddle to Alexander Isak at St James’ Park.
