“Big Ange is tired of him, player has been told to LEAVE” – Veteran Spurs man has been told to pack his bags and MOVE away from the club like Hugo Lloris, he will NOT feature against Bournemouth

Football Insider reports that Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to release Eric Dier on a free transfer in January.

Last week, The Athletic stated that Tottenham is open to offers for both Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg before January.

The report suggested that Hojbjerg may prefer a move to Juventus next month, but it is more probable that the central defender, Dier, will depart when his contract concludes at the season’s end.

Football Insider now asserts that Tottenham has advised Dier to seek a new club and decided to allow him to depart without a transfer fee, especially after Ange Postecoglou clarified that the 29-year-old is not part of his plans.

The report further mentions that Hojbjerg and Hugo Lloris have also been encouraged to find new clubs, with Tottenham willing to release Lloris without a transfer fee. All three players have reportedly instructed their representatives to explore potential moves.

Tottenham’s primary focus appears to be reducing wage costs to accommodate new players, a strategy deemed sensible rather than waiting for Dier’s contract to expire in the summer.

With 29-year-old Dier potentially available on a free transfer, significant interest is anticipated in his services in the coming weeks.
