EXCLUSIVE – Kieran Tierney’s return to Celtic gets massive update as players next destination revealed amid heavy interest from Hoops to bring him back to Parkhead

The saga surrounding Kieran Tierney’s potential return to Celtic has taken yet another turn, with fresh reports suggesting his next destination could be Spain, as Las Palmas show interest.

While many Celtic supporters have been hoping for a reunion with their former left-back, it seems Tierney’s career may be heading in a different direction.

Currently sidelined with an injury sustained during Euro 2024, Tierney has reportedly been informed by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta that his time at the club is nearing an end.

With his contract at the Emirates entering its final year next summer, Arsenal are said to be considering a loan move in January to increase his market value.

Spanish side Las Palmas have emerged as a possible destination, according to Grada 3, and their squad already includes Scottish connections through players such as Oli McBurnie and Scott McKenna, which could help ease Tierney’s transition to La Liga.

A loan spell in Spain could provide him with the chance to regain fitness and form in a less demanding environment than the Premier League, while still playing top-level football.

Though a return to Celtic remains a possibility next summer, the situation remains uncertain. Until his long-term future is resolved, it’s likely rumours will continue to swirl about where Tierney might end up.
