“He’s done it severally and got away with it” – Pundit calls out Spurs key man for Dangerous play that could COST Tottenham the League Title or Top 4 but Ange Postecoglou is reluctant to fix the problem

Destiny Udogie is accused of making several dangerous tackles for Tottenham.

VAR is once again at the center of controversy following Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s sending off against Crystal Palace on Thursday.

The England international was sent off against the Eagles after a decisive strike, but the idea that the strike would have been a serious foul was ridiculous.

Calvert-Lewin did not threaten Nathaniel Clyne with that tackle, and if this is a red card, we may see a number of sendings-off every week in every game.

Keith Treacy discussed Calvert-Lewin’s red card on Off The Ball, comparing the Everton striker’s attack to some of Destiny Udogie’s attacks this season and claiming that the Italian has avoided similar ones on several occasions.

Treacy shared his verdict on Calvert-Lewin and Tottenham’s £15m ace.

“I didn’t think he was dangerous; you could tell he was flat-footed, but he didn’t go with any force to try and do it. Even if it goes straight on the shin, it’s not a leg break. When you hear they went straight with the leg, you think it’s a leg break. I’ve seen Udogie do that at Spurs a couple of times and he got away with it,” Treacy said.
