JUST NOW – Leicester City star set to end his time at club, focused on joining Italian giants to win Bigger Trophies BUT there’s ONE Problem

Leicester City’s midfielder Boubakary Soumaré is keen on the idea of ending his loan spell at Sevilla and moving to Napoli instead, but all three clubs need to reach an agreement.

So reports Gazzetta dello Sport, relayed by Calcio Napoli 24, who are covering the situation today after reports yesterday first linked Napoli with a transfer for the centre-forward.

Soumaré is currently on loan at Sevilla, who he joined on loan from Leicester in the summer after their relegation from the Premier League.

He had hoped to become a regular member of the Spanish team, but that has not proved to be the case as he is struggling for playing time and has only played 55% of the available minutes in the league so far.

Napoli are reportedly keen to take advantage of this, as it was reported yesterday that they are considering a deal for the Leicester player, hoping to strengthen their midfield this month.
Gazzetta is now following up on this, explaining that Napoli have already been approached and the idea of a transfer “excites” the Leicester midfielder.

The Italian side are thus making progress on the transfer, but need to convince Sevilla to release him early, and then discuss a second loan with Leicester.

These talks should also include negotiations on the €15 million buy-out right that the Foxes have included in their deal with Sevilla. It is not clear whether they would accept it or whether they would want to negotiate a reduction.

In any case, the Italian side has “clear ideas” on the transfer of the Leicester man and must now “step up” to reach an agreement this month.
