DONE DEAL – “He’ll be a Spurs player within the NEXT 24-48 hours” – Tottenham have reached an agreement with European Giants to SIGN their Best rated player for bargain fee as Top-class star signs deal until 2029

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a transfer with Genoa for 21-year-old Romanian defender Rado Dragusin.

Florian Plettenberg reports that Tottenham Hotspur wants Radu Dragusin. They want to strengthen their defence in the current transfer window and the 21-year-old Genoa defender is their priority target. They are looking to complete this transfer in the coming days and have reached an agreement with a Serie A team.

Radu Dragusin on the rise:

Things may not have worked out for Dragusin at Juventus. But he has managed to progress since joining Genoa on a season-long loan in the summer of 2022. The transfer was made permanent last summer and he has done well since then.

The 21-year-old central defender has made a good name for himself and several clubs from all over Europe are keen to acquire his services. Napoli and Bayern Munich are two European giants interested in the Romanian international’s services.

But they are behind Tottenham Hotspur in the race for his signature. And if they do not respond with an official offer in the next few hours, they will lose the signature of the former Juventus defender.

Will Tottenham sign Dragusin?
The north London club has made a great start to the new season. They were top of the Premier League in the initial phase, but due to injuries and a lack of depth in the squad, they dropped to fifth place. Spurs are looking to bounce back in the second half of the season and are looking to strengthen their squad to achieve their goals.

Their Australian manager Ange Postecoglou wants to bring in a new central defender and Dragusin is a player he admires. The 21-year-old could be a great reinforcement both in the short and long term. He will not only add depth to their back line, but also a lot of quality.

Tottenham have been in talks with Genoa for some time and this morning the two clubs reached a full transfer agreement. While Il Grifone wanted a fixed fee of €30 million, Spurs managed to convince them to agree a transfer that will cost them €25 million plus add-ons. The player will be under contract until the summer of 2029. If nothing changes, Dragusin should be a Tottenham player within the next 24 to 48 hours.
