Everton have experienced a slight upturn in form since David Moyes took over from Sean Dyche.
The Glaswegian has seamlessly picked up where he left off at Goodison Park after his departure in 2013 to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
Moyes has impressively guided Everton to six points from a possible nine in matches against Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Brighton.
This run has provided Everton with some much-needed breathing room in the relegation battle, as they now sit seven points clear of the bottom three.
However, there is still work to be done before Moyes can guide Everton to the coveted 40-point mark, and a new signing in Angelo Preciado is expected to bolster the Toffees’ survival hopes.

A report from Tuttosport in Italy suggests that Everton are on the verge of securing the Ecuador international in a £5 million deal.
TBR Football understands that West Ham are also interested in Preciado, but the Italian outlet claims that Everton are now poised to finalize his signing.
The Sparta Prague No. 17 has enjoyed a strong season on the right flank, contributing three assists in 12 appearances. However, the South American has been sidelined for the last eight Chance Liga matches due to a meniscus injury.
According to FBREF, a data analysis site, Preciado shares similarities with Newcastle’s Joelinton, particularly in his ability to drive forward with the ball.

It may be a case of one in, one out at Goodison Park before the February 3rd transfer deadline.
Tuttosport adds that Moyes, who was appointed ahead of Paulo Fonseca, does not see Beto as part of his plans. Torino are reportedly in talks to sign the Guinea-Bissau international.
This comes despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin sustaining a concerning hamstring injury during Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Brighton. As a result, director of football Kevin Thelwell may also look to bring in a new striker alongside Preciado.
