He has made just eight appearances this season across all competitions, with six coming in Premier League 2 and the others in the EFL Trophy.
The young Englishman has been on the fringes in recent seasons but believes a loan move is the best step for his career, offering him the chance to play regular football under an experienced manager like McInnes.
His switch to Kilmarnock will mark his first loan away from the King Power Stadium, having progressed through Leicester’s youth ranks with the under-18s and under-21s.
