Leicester City’s Caleb Okoli was the subject of transfer speculation during the January window, with several clubs expressing interest in the defender.
Cagliari and Parma were among the teams keen on securing the Italian’s services, and Okoli’s agent confirmed that discussions had taken place regarding a potential move away from the King Power Stadium, just months after his arrival at Leicester.
Despite the interest, Okoli remained with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side, though his future at the club remains uncertain.
According to TVPlay, AC Milan have now entered the race for the centre-back, viewing him as a “favourable opportunity” for the summer transfer window.
The report provides context on Okoli’s situation, revealing that Napoli were also offered the chance to sign the 23-year-old, but it was Parma who came closest to completing a deal.
The possibility of a summer departure remains on the table, and there is a belief that if Leicester City are relegated this season, it could “bring the move closer” for Milan, who consider his valuation an attractive factor.
Okoli is currently valued at €10 million by the Foxes and has featured in Leicester’s last two Premier League matches.
