DEAL ON – Fabrizio Romano shares when Leicester City now expect to complete Stefano Sensi transfer deal after reaching personal agreement with player

Leicester City are getting closer and closer to signing Stefano Sensi.

In the last few days, speculations linking the Foxes with the Inter Milan ace have intensified.

On Thursday, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Leicester and the Nerazzurri had agreed a fee of €2 million (£1.7 million) for Sensi.

On Saturday morning, however, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Sensi had already agreed personal terms with Leicester and that he genuinely wants to move to the King Power.

Now the transfer expert has published a new update, claiming that Leicester are confident of concluding a deal with Sensi by early next week.

Inter are currently competing in the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, with the final against Napoli on Monday.

As soon as Sensi returns from the tournament, the Foxes will try to conclude a deal. All parties are currently “on the verge” of doing so.

Sensi will join Leicester as a replacement for Cesare Casade, who has returned to parent club Chelsea.

Leicester are on the verge of signing Stefano Sensi:

Leicester are getting closer and closer to strengthening their midfield with a proven Serie A star as they look to return to the Premier League at the earliest opportunity.

Sensi has had a brilliant career in Italian football over the years, making 56 appearances for Inter, 68 for Sassuolo and winning nine national captaincy titles for the Azzurri.

If all goes well, it looks like we will get a “here we go” early next week. But it could be even sooner, as the official announcement is expected in the next few days.

In any case, barring any unwanted late twists and turns, it looks like the Sens should soon be playing for the 2015-16 Premier League champions.
