Inter Milan’s Stefano Sensi is expected to undergo a medical at Leicester City tomorrow as the transfer is getting closer to completion.
The Italian has been linked with the Foxes and according to reliable information, tomorrow should be an important day for the deal.
Sensi seems to be a wise choice for Leicester and the fans hope that he will have a positive impact on their promotion to the Premier League this season.
Sensi seems to be just the kind of player who could help LCFC rise to a higher level in the Championship this term, and then be a hit for them in League One next year as well.
According to Football Italia, Leicester are set to pay €3 million for Sensi, who could get a chance to make his last appearance for Inter today.
Sensi is on the verge of joining Enzo Marescu at the King Power Stadium and is expected to undergo a medical with the English Championship’s leading team on Monday.
Despite the imminent transfer, Sensi is available for Inter’s Serie A away game against Fiorentina this evening. With Nicolò Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu suspended, Kristjan Asllani will start in the centre of midfield and the Italian international is available on the bench.
Football Italia is among the accredited media at the Stadio Franchi, where Sensi joined his teammates for a warm-up.
The 28-year-old trained with the Nerazzurri reserve team at a slow pace, with and without the ball. Towards the end of the warm-up, he passed the ball back and forth with Davy Klaassen and new signing Tajon Buchanan, before Curva Fiesole took one last shot at the empty net before heading into the tunnel.
Sensi has made four Serie A appearances with Inter this season, but has only been on the pitch for 65 minutes.
