Leicester City defender Harry Souttar will stay with the Foxes on transfer deadline day despite interest from Leeds United, reports Football Insider.
Leicester City remain top of the Championship standings, ten points behind second-placed Ipswich Town. Enzo Maresco’s charges will return to the Premier League this season, while the Foxes have continued to strengthen this month.
However, Souttar has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium. Daniel Farke’s Leeds United had previously been interested in the Australian international, but have now been told he will not leave the club despite interest from their rivals for promotion to the Championship.
Souttar, 25, has made just three Championship appearances for Leicester City this season, but despite the move looking like a smart option, he will remain a Foxes player beyond today’s deadline.

Leeds United have been looking for reinforcements in defence for some time, but have hit a brick wall.
A transfer for Souttar always seemed ambitious, especially given the high price Leicester City paid for the defender a year ago.
Farke’s team have been in good form recently and are one of four teams who appear to be in the race for the last place for automatic promotion to the second division.
It looks like it will come down to the wire in another interesting match for promotion to the championship.
Clubs still have some time to sign contracts, but time is running out as the window closes at 23:00.
The next game for Leeds United is tomorrow night away at Bristol City. Leicester City are away to Stoke City on Saturday.
