Here We Go – West Ham in FINAL STAGES of talks for another EXIT after Benrahma, should be COMPLETED before transfer deadline

West Ham United in advanced talks for Pablo Fornals’ departure after Said Benrahmi, deal could be done by 11pm deadline – Dharmesh Sheth

Talks between West Ham and Real Betis over the transfer of Pablo Fornals are progressing, claims Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports News reporter revealed via his official X account (1 February) that Betis are “understood to be closer to West Ham’s valuation” for the Spanish centre-back.

Therefore, the player and both clubs are currently optimistic that a deal will be concluded before the transfer window closes on Thursday evening.

This news follows an update via Fabrizio Romano’s official X account (1 February) that Said Benrahma is currently in France to complete his transfer to Lyon.

Double departure:

Before 11pm on Thursday, West Ham supporters must prepare to say goodbye to two of their attacking options.

It hasn’t been an easy season for Fornals and Benrahma on a personal level, but both players will probably be hoping that their exits are sealed in time for them to return to playing regularly again at their new clubs.

For David Moyes, it will mean that with Michail Antonio out injured, he will be somewhat short of options going forward, and fans will wonder whether this double news of departures could perhaps prompt the club to make a late move with some of their own signings.

If not, Divin Mubama can expect to get more minutes as the queue for the first team will be significantly reduced.

In any case, the fans will be saying goodbye to two players who have had a lot of fun with the club but clearly just need a fresh start.
