Jürgen Klopp responds to Spurs Brilliant Win over Brighton as he answers the Question on whether Spurs are in the Title race alongside Arsenal, City after Lilywhites Cheated Liverpool at White Hart Lane for Luis Diaz’s goal

Tottenham started the season in great form, going unbeaten in their first ten games, winning eight times and drawing twice to move to the top of the standings.

He then suffered a series of injuries to key players, which wiped out his form, but under the circumstances he still performed exceptionally well and managed to stay within touching distance of the top four.

Now that all players are healthy again and with some new players returning to the team in January, Ange is preparing the team for a strong finish to the league.

They are in 4th place in the play-offs, one point ahead of Aston Villa, who lost their game against Manchester United yesterday.

A top-four finish is very possible, but given their form they could go even higher.

And although Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are expected to be the main rivals for the league, managers and players of the rivals refused to rule Spurs out of the conversation.

Declan Rice hinted last week that Spurs were still in the game, and now Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said the same.

After the convincing win over Burnley, Klopp was asked about the title race, to which he replied (via the BBC):

“I know it’s every week (the title race). Add Tottenham – who got a big win today. Villa play tomorrow. Everybody is in the game and obviously Arsenal.”

Although we will be more than happy with a top-four finish in Ange’s first season, we simply cannot rule out the possibility of a late title challenge.

We are only 7 points away from the leaders Liverpool. Catching them and Manchester City won’t be easy, but it’s not impossible.
