Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to make it back-to-back home wins in the Premier League when they host Wolves on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou’s men beat Brighton 2-1 in north London at the weekend. Brennan Johnson’s late winner ensured that Spurs went into the weekend in fourth place, one point ahead of Aston Villa.
Postecoglou, however, will be looking for a better performance as he publicly admitted that he was disappointed with Saturday’s performance, especially the first half.
Rodrigo Bentancur struggled in the opening 45 minutes and was replaced by Yves Bissouma shortly after the hour mark.
In our opinion, Bissouma could return to the starting eleven against Wolves for the first time this season.

Barring injuries, we will be surprised if there are changes between the posts and in defence.
Destiny Udogie was unable to continue against Brighton and Postecoglou admitted he was “not sure” whether it was cramp. But there is hope that Udogie will be fine on Saturday.
As for the midfield, Spurs have not been successful in the middle of the park in recent weeks.
Postecoglou’s charges have struggled to control games and the middle of the park was uninteresting in the first half against Brighton.
Bentancur had problems as they lost the ball several times in dangerous spots, which led to a penalty incident. It would not have been surprising if the £19 million player had been dropped to the bench against Wolves and Bissouma had been on the pitch instead.
The 27-year-old recently returned from AFCON 2024 and has yet to start a game for Spurs this season.
The midfield trio of Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison has been excellent for Spurse early in the season.
As for the front three, Heung-min Son is expected to return to the starting eleven.
Timo Werner has had a rather encouraging start to his life with the Spurs. But he might drop to the bench for Tottenham’s captain, while Richarlison and Dejan Kuleshevski will keep their place in the team.
