Injury Report – Everton World-class star issues Fresh Injury update on Instagram after Sean Dyche confirms player will be OUT of action for the Toffees until of the season

Everton midfielder Dele Alli has reported new information about his injury after returning to Finch Farm, where he recently underwent surgery for a new groin injury.

The 27-year-old hasn’t played for the Toffees since Sean Dyche’s arrival at Goodison Park, having spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Besiktas before making an early return to Merseyside following injury.

However, Dele shared a new update on his recovery with his followers on Instagram after Dyche hinted that he could play for the Toffees before the end of the season and the expiry of his contract at Goodison Park.

On Tuesday (5 March), he posted a video of himself stretching his legs with weights on Instagram, captioning it: ‘A bit of rest and relaxation. A little bit of life. Lots of love.”

Will Dele Alli play for Everton before the end of the season?
It has been such a frustrating season for Dele, who seemed to be close to a full return from injury on several occasions, only for a new problem to arise that delayed his return for a few more months.

While this is annoying for the midfielder and the fans who wanted him back in the game, it was perhaps financially beneficial for the Toffees as it meant that the clause in his transfer from Tottenham was not activated.

Let’s hope the England international’s Instagram post is a hint that he is almost back in the game. Although Dyche has confirmed that a return to the first team is still some time away, he seems to be heading in the right direction.

Whether the fans will see him in an Everton jersey remains to be seen, but it certainly seems that Dele is in a much better place in his life than he was after his association with Besiktas ended.
