The Kladivar fans in Freiburg have been affected by the travel chaos in Germany, but there will still be plenty of our fans on the pitch to cheer on the boys.
David Moyes is well aware that his players are capable of beating Freiburg – after all, they have done it twice already this season.
We have the players we need to really hurt a Bundesliga team, including Lucas Paqueta. And Freiburg seem to be well aware of the Brazilian’s quality…
The Freiburg star praised the West Ham player ahead of the Europa League clash:
Ginter spoke about the Kladivarians ahead of tonight’s game at Europa-Park.
Speaking to Freiburg’s official website, the 30-year-old singled out Paquet as someone he and his teammates will be looking out for:
“He is the complete package. He makes things happen with the ball. As an individual, it’s hard to stop him. So of course we will try to tackle him together as a team.”
Ginter is right – when Paqueta is at his best, he can be absolutely unstoppable, so we will need him at his best tonight in Germany.
One thing is for sure, if we want to win against a Bundesliga team, we need to be at our best.
The Brazilian can sometimes win games on his own and I expect a big performance from him tonight.
