Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler overlooks Patty Mills, praises ONE key Maimi Heat star for winning the game vs Cavaliers

Guard Terry Rozier’s impressive performance with the Miami Heat has garnered recognition from his teammates, including star player Jimmy Butler, following their recent victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rozier’s contribution of 24 points and two assists, alongside Butler’s 30 points and four steals, played a pivotal role in securing the win for the Heat.

Butler commended Rozier’s standout performance, particularly highlighting his ability to rise to the occasion when faced with heightened expectations.

Rozier’s clutch plays in the final minutes of the game, including a crucial four-point play and a decisive step-back shot from beyond the arc, underscored his impact on the team’s success.

“Terry put on a show, man. When half the arena is there to see you, you gotta come out and do your thing,” Butler said. “But I’m just proud of our guys for coming out and fighting a couple of men down and compete and get one on the road, which we definitely needed.”

Despite being sidelined due to back issues, All-Star center Bam Adebayo lauded Rozier’s performance, acknowledging his pivotal role in securing the victory.

Adebayo humorously compared Rozier’s late-game heroics to his own game-winning three-pointer against the Detroit Pistons, emphasizing the guard’s ability to deliver under pressure.

“Terry made big plays today, him and Jimmy definitely put the ball in the basket,” Adebayo said. “But that shot at the end of the game, I told him he was trying to be like me.”

Rozier’s consistent contributions and ability to thrive in critical moments have solidified his importance to the Miami Heat roster, earning praise from key teammates and bolstering the team’s confidence as they navigate the challenges of the NBA season.
