EXCLUSIVE: ‘Goodbye from Parkhead’ – Celtic star now LEAVING as club have GIVEN Greenlight for deal to happen, deal to be completed in coming days, Rodgers closing in SIGNING World-class Premier League star to replace him as per Fabrizio Romano

Reports earlier this week suggested that Serie A side Como were interested in signing Barcelona youngster Alex Valle on loan for the second half of the season.

The 20-year-old full-back, currently on loan at Celtic, has impressed during his time at Parkhead. However, with Celtic reportedly close to re-signing Kieran Tierney, Valle’s situation at the Scottish club appears set to change.

Building on these reports, MARCA has confirmed that Barcelona have given the green light for Valle to join Como on loan.

The move would see the La Masia graduate link up with former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, now managing the Serie A club.

The transfer is dependent on Celtic finalizing the return of Tierney, which is expected to happen soon.

Barcelona’s sporting department has already factored this development into their plans and supports the switch, believing Como offers a favorable environment for Valle’s development.

Notably, the loan is set to last just six months, as Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick wants Valle to return for pre-season preparations with the first team ahead of the next campaign.

A Promising Prospect

Valle enjoyed a successful loan spell at Levante last season, earning a spot in Barcelona’s pre-season squad, where he delivered strong performances.

Despite his potential, it was mutually decided that a loan would be best for the player to gain more regular playing time, with Alejandro Balde firmly established as Barcelona’s first-choice left-back.

Before his loan to Celtic, Valle extended his contract with Barcelona until June 2026, signaling the club’s long-term faith in the young defender.

As he prepares for his next challenge at Como, the move promises valuable experience in a competitive environment while keeping him on track for a bright future with Barcelona.
