Nottingham Forest have secured the signing of promising central defender Tyler Bindon from Reading, with a contract extending until the summer of 2028.

Born on January 27, 2005, in Auckland, New Zealand, Tyler Bindon hails from a family with a rich sporting heritage.
His mother, Jenny Bindon, earned 77 caps as a goalkeeper for the New Zealand women’s national team, while his father, Grant Bindon, captained the country’s volleyball team.
At the age of 12, Tyler relocated to California, USA, following his mother’s appointment as a coach for the UCLA women’s soccer team.
In the United States, Bindon continued his football development with East Coast Bays before joining the Los Angeles FC Academy. His time at LAFC provided him with a solid foundation, leading to a move to Reading in the summer of 2023.
